I covered the Greenpower event at Lotus’s Hethel test circuit on behalf of Spacesuit Media, documenting a full day of competition, engineering creativity, and team spirit. The event brought together schools and young engineers racing electric cars they built themselves — an inspiring mix of innovation and grassroots motorsport set against the backdrop of an iconic test track.
My focus was on capturing both the energy on track and the collaborative atmosphere in the paddock, highlighting the students’ dedication, problem-solving, and excitement throughout the day.
